Primary Purpose:
To fulfill the daily operational requirements of the Lighthouse Mission.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance to all volunteers and ATCCC students, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed.
- Welcome all donors and volunteers in a professional manner, greet, thank, and build relationships with them.
- Receive, manage, and record donations dropped off (donor information, pictures, items donated, and their respective storage locations).
- Assist in the development and execution of a student training program, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to learn food preparation and kitchen operations for serving 300+ people.
- Maintain day-to-day operations, including managing programs, services, and supplies, and implementing recommendations for improvements.
- Plan and execute special meals and holiday events.
- Maintain general facility maintenance, ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are completed as needed or required (daily walk-through report).
- Ensure that all kitchen and food preparation standards, as laid out by the ATCCC Food Service Manager, are followed.
- Collect social media communications, providing updates, images, and praise reports for use on social media and with donors.
- Occasionally fulfill driving and pick-up needs for the ministry.
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. May be required to work evenings and weekends for special events.
Collaboration:
Will work in collaboration with the ATCCC Winnipeg Program Director, Food Service Manager, Students, Volunteers, and other LH staff.
Decision Making:
- Schedule and manage work time effectively for self, students, and volunteers who serve at the LH.
- Adjust services to better serve the community.
Leadership:
Provide leadership to volunteers and students.
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of the non-profit sector.
- Working knowledge of kitchen dynamics, food preparation, and cooking procedures.
- Able to lead and manage others with excellence.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Valid food handler's certificate.
Work Environment:
Primarily working from Lighthouse Mission Facilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
