Summary of the role:

Located in our Montreal office at 9300 Trans Canada Route, Saint-Laurent, QC, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of projects within an organization. The role is responsible for maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring that project goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist SVP’s with the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure that project goals and objectives are clearly defined and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain project schedules and track progress against project milestones and deadlines.
  • Work with project team members to identify and mitigate project risks and issues and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and communicate updates to project stakeholders.
  • Assist with project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and other project-related documentation.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time and within budget and meet the quality standards and requirements of the project.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that project dependencies are identified and managed effectively.
  • Monitor project expenses and ensure that expenditures are within budget and in line with project goals and objectives.
  • Assist with post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or a related role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Monnday.com, Smartsheet, or Asana.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to build relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements.
