Urgent hiring for experienced Press Shop Supervisor.

Job role:

• Train, develop, and mentor employees to ensure a productive, efficient and competent workforce
• Ensure all employees follow the Quality System and conform to quality standards; participate in quality root cause and corrective action investigations
• Process production reports; record and organize downtime information; track and monitor to improve on production targets measured utilizing OEE metrics, Availability, Performance, Quality.
• Performs all duties as assigned in accordance with and adherence to the IATF:16949 Quality System Standard
• Follows Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions as outlined in the Quality Systems
• Manual and Employee Handbook
• Performs all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety, 5S and Housekeeping guidelines and rules;
• Reports all unsafe & unhealthy conditions to Management or a member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years hands on Supervisory experience in a related field
• Progressive dies experience
• Good working knowledge of press shop and stamping operations.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Good overall oral & written communication skills

Shifts:

Weekend day shift Sunday & Saturday - 7am to 7pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Aurora, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Supervisory: 2 years (required)

Work Location: In person
