CargoSprout is a growing logistics-technology startup that is deploying solutions to un-clog the global supply chain and make it greener. Our team is looking for a driven individual to gear us up for launch and spearhead our growth. Currently, we are beta testing our next-gen logistics platform that automates the delivery of shipping containers from seaports to distribution centers and commercial facilities.

Role and Responsibilities
Primary duties include identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining successful relationships with prospects, existing and past clients and collaborating with executives on business strategy to determine objectives to maximize business reach and potential. Leads and develops new customer acquisition campaigns using various channels such as B2B account based marketing and land-and-expand strategies. Qualified candidates should have at least two to three years of relevant experience and/or training or equivalent combination in B2B sales and marketing in N. America. Experience in the logistics and SaaS industry is preferred but not required. Your ability to balance and maintain relationships with customers and the product team is essential. You work with the business and operations team and report to the CEO. You will receive feedback on a daily-weekly basis.

  • Working cross-functionally to devise and implement sales campaigns
  • Building and developing relationships with key business stakeholders
  • Leveraging analytics and competitive analysis to help create new marketing campaigns and A/B test new ideas throughout the customer journey
  • Planning, creating, and measuring customer acquisition campaigns through traditional and digital media
  • Creating and executing strategies to maximize user acquisition
  • Drafting different marketing materials including acquisitional, communicational, and promotional ones
  • Submitting ideas for experimental marketing programs created to enhance and grow the brand of the company

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales
  • Impeccable English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong copywriting and design skills.
  • Familiarity with the industry including SaaS, logistics, and supply-chain management
  • Good understanding of digital marketing concepts such as cookie-based data collection and A/B testing
  • Ability to work well with a team and as an individual contributor
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to learn new technologies or strategies quickly
  • Strong dispute resolution skills with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and understand cross-cultural communicational nuances at a business level (ie. Canadian, American, Japanese, Chinese, European, and Indian to name a few)
