Qualifications
BC Certification
Bachelor of Education (Secondary) or equivalent
Undergraduate degree with a major or minor in music education preferred
Previous successful experience teaching secondary band preferred
Demonstrated ability to teach music
Demonstrated current knowledge of the renewed curriculum for English & Social Studies and the learning outcomes and appropriate resources
Previous successful experience teaching secondary English & Social Studies
Experience with a variety of learning management systems
Demonstrated ability to use a variety of teaching and assessment strategies
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills
