The Role
Working with the department Director, Customer Experience Managers (CEM), sales management, and product business teams to develop product training content, modify sales tools, and support implementation strategies for training and sales best practices for internal and external customers. Through assisting with the build-out of dealer development programs – including custom training events, incentive programs, dealer and sales representative councils and other initiatives - drive brand awareness and increased dealer engagement to improve sales success. Support CEMs with product recommendation priorities (product playbooks) based on reseller competitive assortments, end-user verticals, other sales analysis insights, as well as corporate priorities. Overall, ensure consistency and accuracy in product information communicated to all relevant parties.
We operate in a hybrid work environment that offers two remote days per week.
In This Role, You will…
- Implement training and development materials and plans, and facilitate a wide variety of training programs that enhance the effectiveness of our internal and external salesforce
- Assist with dealer development for the Contract Interior channel focused on maximizing Fellowes position with aligned furniture dealers, targeted national accounts, and other stakeholders
- Assist with implementation of key customer engagement loyalty models such as thought leadership councils, incentives, and opportunities for the company to engage with customers in meaningful ways by developing unique experience
- Be a category expert, with detailed knowledge of product specifications, consumer needs, selling strategies, competitive assessments through collaboration with Product Marketing.
- Develop product assortment distribution matrix expertise based on channel, reseller portfolio, and other gap analysis insights with the goal to improve top line sales and margin enhancement (both for dealer and Fellowes)
- Develop a strong working knowledge of Fellowes’ sales, marketing, and training systems.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Global Branding & Global Marketing Teams on consistency/accuracy of content and support in the implementation of information in sales and marketing materials such as presentations, webinars, e-commerce vehicles, e-mail content, and other communication platforms.
- Cross-functional collaboration & build out of expansive dealer development for Canadian subsidiary
- Work with Product Marketing to stay updated on competitive landscape to assure accuracy of prescribed content and strategies.
- Field virtual and in-person training sessions when necessary.
- Analyze dealer development and incentive initiatives. Establish and report the measurable return on investment.
- May be called to participate in key customer presentations.
- Assure brand communication consistency in all materials created.
What You Bring to the Team
- Experience in graphic design, video formats, digital formats, and social network platforms.
- Strong presentation material development skills.
- Proficiency in programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word. Able to make additions / revisions to sales and marketing materials (while maintaining brand and messaging consistency)
